Bio - and Some explanation of style...
About me...
I am Charles Ramer and reside now with my wife Elizabeth in the land of the sun - Peoria Arizona, having recently escaped the frozen tundra and overcast skies of North East Ohio.
I have drawn inspiration from the quirky and eclectic for over 35 years and currently work in pencil and watercolor in the studio of our new home overlooking the Sonoran Mountians.
About style...
Although I am red/green colorblind, I don't believe (although some may disagree) that colorblindness is a handicap - and may in fact be an advantage. Color seems secondary to me needless to say - although color is important enough that I admittedly do cheat. (the watercolor tubes are labeled - as is my tray and I know all the rules - grass is green sky is blue... although I reserve the right to ignore them.)
About the family...
My son Ryan is an accomplished sound artist, pianist, composer, and metal sculptor in Lakewood OH. My daughter Devin is a Health and Wellness Major at Arizona State and my wife Elizabeth practices holistic healing and spiritual guidance along with being an active proponent of environmental causes in the West Valley.
